
Alan Moskowitz, MDDr. Moskowitz earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. Continuing on at Albany Medical College, he began his orthopaedic surgery residency, which he completed at the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children in Philadelphia, PA. Advanced fellowship training in scoliosis surgery followed at the Twin Cities Scoliosis Center in Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Moskowitz has devoted his medical career to improving spinal care and surgery, particularly surgical repair of spinal fractures and scoliosis. He has conducted years of research in this field, and has shared his findings with the medical community by publishing numerous articles in clinical journals, writing chapters in several medical textbooks, and by lecturing frequently both here and abroad.
In addition to his continuing research and his busy orthopaedic practice at Kansas Joint and Spine Institute, Dr. Moskowitz is also actively involved in many prestigious professional associations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Scoliosis Research Society and, the North American Spine Society.
